As of May 2014, 55 nurses work on staff for Medline. Part of their job is helping fellow nurses and healthcare colleagues with the clinical applications of Medline products. These are our clinical algorithms that help find the right product for a particular patient and condition.
Wound care is the richest area of care algorithms that Medline offers. This is not surprising, given the complexity of wounds and the broad choices in wound dressings and treatments. It’s also a natural complement to our WOCN hotline.
Our recommendations for product selection and use in different clinical scenarios are also available for urologicals, as part of the ERASE CAUTI® program. Continence care management is also available. Medline can also help customize an algorithm based on your own formulary or requirements.
