ProHealth Care Signs Medline as its Exclusive Medical Supply Distributor
Manufacturer-direct approach and supply chain management expertise to help increase efficiency, drive cost savings
MUNDELEIN, Ill., March 13, 2014 — ProHealth Care, a leading provider of community health services in Waukesha County, Wis. and surrounding areas, recently selected Medline Industries, Inc. as its exclusive distribution partner for medical and surgical supplies Clinicians at ProHealth Care’s two main hospitals and surgery center will receive products through Medline’s extensive distribution capabilities.The five-year agreement is expected to be worth approximately $50 million over the course of the deal.

Medline will deliver an array of significant efficiencies and cost savings to help the integrated health care system better monitor and control costs. The company will also provide a broad assortment of its Medline brand products, as well as other national brand supplies directly to ProHealth Care from its Libertyville, Ill. distribution center.
